About our Milwaukee Program

Milwaukee Crime Stoppers

  • Launched on October 15, 2019 which is designed to partner with the community to combat crime in the city.
  • A non-profit organization that offers anonymity for community tips regarding crimes in the community.
  • The Milwaukee Crime Stoppers Program is funded by "Community Development Block Grants", "Asset Forfeiture Funds", and "Contributions".
  • Crime Stoppers is comprised of active, dedicated, and diverse community representatives.

Crime Stoppers provides a method for local law enforcement to receive information on crimes in the community. Citizens can call the anonymous crime tip line 414-224-TIPS (8477) which connects to a third-party call center out of state to help prevent or solve crimes. The information is distributed to law enforcement for investigation. Tips that lead to an arrest may be eligible for an award up to $1,000.
